What is a crush? According to urbandictionary.com, a crush is defined as a person that you can’t describe in a word, but multiple words. A person you can’t get off your mind. So, what does it mean to have a Woman Crush in the business world? Well, as many of us probably see it, a Woman Crush is a Women Entrepreneur that inspires us through her social media post, podcast or any form of entertainment or interaction within the social media platform, not so much of an infatuation but more like a Role Model.
So, who inspires you? Who is your Woman Crush on Wednesdays? Is it a podcaster? Is it your neighbor who you see every morning struggling to get all her photo equipment in her car and comes back late at night with her daughter and you see this STRONG Boss Mom working hard to support her family? Think about it. You may be a Woman Crush for someone else and you don’t even know it yet!! We, here in Lattes for Women, have many women who we reach out to because we admire their habits, their work ethics,
motivation to keep going, their positivity, and even their struggles and how they overcome them.
But, let’s go back a second and talk about you. Why are you constantly looking at other Boss Babes succeed when you also want to succeed but you have the habit of flipping through social media and your television or lying in bed wondering “What If”? Are you imagining what you could be doing or that you envy that Woman Crush without it knowing? Let me stop you there!
